Although summer is almost over, warm evenings are still upon us, and they call for a refreshing treat that combines the sweetness of grilled peaches with of homemade ice cream. This Grilled Peaches and Homemade Ice Cream recipe is the perfect way to cool down and satisfy your sweet tooth!


For the Homemade Ice Cream

  • 1 cup vegan whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Grilled Peaches

  • Fresh peaches
  • Butter for grilling

Optional Toppings

  • Chopped almonds


Prepare the Homemade Ice Cream

  1. Begin by chilling a mixing bowl in the freezer for about 15 minutes.
  2. Pour 1 cup of vegan whipping cream into the chilled bowl.
  3. Using an electric mixer on medium speed, beat the whipping cream until it becomes thick and fluffy. This should take a few minutes.
  4. Gradually add 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 1 tsp of cinnamon to the whipped cream. Continue mixing until the sugar and cinnamon are fully incorporated.
  5. Add 1 tsp of vanilla extract to the mixture and mix until it’s evenly combined with the other ingredients.
  6. Once the ice cream base is well-mixed and creamy, transfer it to a container with a lid.
  7. Smooth out the surface of the ice cream to ensure even freezing.
  8. Cover the container with cling film, ensuring it touches the surface of the ice cream to prevent ice crystals from forming.
  9. Place the container in the freezer and let the ice cream freeze for at least 4 hours, or until it’s firm and scoopable.

Grill the Peaches

  1. While the ice cream is freezing, prepare the peaches. Start by washing and cleaning the fresh peaches.
  2. Cut the peaches in half and remove the stones or pits.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Lightly butter the grill grates to prevent the peaches from sticking.
  5. Place the peach halves on the grill, cut side down.
  6. Grill the peaches for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they become tender and develop beautiful grill marks.
