Sonia and Mario first met on Veggly in 2021. Their connection was instant—two people who understood each other’s compassion, ethics, and love for animals. Just a year later, in 2022, they made their relationship official in one of the most iconic places in the world: right in front of the Colosseum in Rome. ❤️🏛️
From there, their love only grew stronger. In 2023, Mario proposed, and in 2024, the couple pursued one of their biggest dreams together: opening a Neapolitan vegan restaurant in Italy, where food and love are served in equal measure. 🍕🌱
And on May 25th, 2025, surrounded by friends, family, and plenty of vegan joy, Sonia and Mario tied the knot! 💍✨ Their journey is a true testament to how love and shared values can build not only a relationship, but also a meaningful future together.

“Hi guys, we are Sonia and Mario from Italy! We met on Veggly in 2021. In 2022 we became a couple in front of the Colosseum in Rome, in 2023 he asked me to marry him, in 2024 we opened a neapolitan vegan restaurant in Italy and on 25-05-2025 we got married! “
